Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Andrea Carpenter and this is my fourth year of teaching. I have taught fourth grade and this is my fifth year of teaching kindergarten. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Child Development and Family Studies and received my license in Elementary Education. I am married to Wesley Carpenter, who is a math teacher in our county, and we have three amazing boys ages 9, 6, and 2!!! I am excited about this year and anxious to know you and your child! Kathy Sprinkle will be our classroom assistant this year. She is married and has twin boys away at college. Together, we are looking forward to watching your child grow emotionally, socially, physically, and academically.

Parents, we have a wonderful opportunity to raise money for our school! Box Tops for Educaton, Tyson Project A+ Labels, and Campbell's Soup Labels for Education are many foods that we buy everyday. Please look for the labels, clip them out and return them to school. The more we receive, the more it benefits our students. Also, Ingles Tools for Schools is a wonderful resource that puts millions of dollars back into school systems. If you would like a form to link your Ingles card to our school, please let me know.
